Google is looking for some communities to hot-wire with lightning-fast Internet connectivity and they're asking communities to
submit proposals for this project. Future Forward! Green County and others believe that the Green County area offers an excellent opportunity for Google and that Google
can bring great change to the Green County area. Submissions from community leaders are due into Google no later than March 26, 2010 and there is much to
do between now and then if we wish to be considered here in Green County.

Time is Short: The first public meeting on this subject was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2010 at Monroe City Hall where it was determined to go ahead with a Government response. Now we need you to join in the buzz! Visit the links above for more info. Several Future Forward! Green County members are already playing active role along with various government entities and organizations such as Green County Development Corporation but we need to drum up even more involvement. Pass this alone to anyone you think may be interested. Time is short. It's a community collaboration so the more the merrier.
