Pet of the Week

Green County Humane Society Animal of the Week

WILFRED (aka - Spanky) is a neutered male, small, white Labrador mix that is about 5 ½ years old. He can be a bit timid at first but warms up nicely when he gets to know you. He loves lots of attention from people but can try to dominate, so he needs an owner who knows how to take charge and be master. We feel he would do best in a single person household. He loves to go for walks and to run and play. He knows a few commands but additional training would be helpful. He seems shy around other dogs but then tries to dominate. He is scared of cats so he should be watched with them closely at first. We recommend no children because of his dominant tendencies. If you have a little time and skill to work with this beautiful boy, he has the potential to be a great companion. Please stop in to meet him or call the Green County Humane Society at 608-325-9600.
