Jalapeno Crab Cakes

Chef's Comments: Another excellent dish from The Dining Room@209 Main Street in Monticello


Ingredients:

  • 1 lb crab meat
  • 3 Tbsp minced red onions
  • 3 Tbsp minced red peppers
  • 2 Tbsp minced canned jalapenos
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • S&P
  • oil for  sautéing
Directions:
  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Form into desired size cakes.
  3. Heat oil in a non stick pan over medium low heat.
  4. Sauté cakes until golden brown on each side and heated through.
